Cold Brew at Home – Our Go-To Recipe (75g/L)

This is our simple, reliable cold brew recipe using either of our filter roasts. It highlights sweetness, clarity and origin character without bitterness.

What You’ll Need

  • 75g freshly ground coffee (coarse grind – French press style)

  • 1 litre cold, filtered water

  • A jar, jug or cold brew maker

  • Fine sieve or paper filter

Ratio

75g coffee per 1 litre of water
This ratio produces a smooth, balanced cold brew that’s ready to drink over ice without needing heavy dilution.

Method

  1. Add 75g of coarse-ground coffee to your brewing vessel.

  2. Pour over 1 litre of cold water, ensuring all grounds are evenly saturated.

  3. Give it a gentle stir.

  4. Cover and steep in the fridge for 12–18 hours.

  5. Strain through a fine sieve or paper filter to remove all grounds.

To Serve

  • Pour over ice

  • Enjoy black for maximum clarity

  • Or add milk or a splash of water to taste

Choosing Your Filter Roast

  • Filter Roast (Blend)
Smooth, balanced and easy-drinking. Expect a clean, classic cold brew with gentle sweetness — perfect for everyday brewing.

  • Filter Roast – Ethiopia
Bright, juicy and expressive. Cold brew brings out berry-like sweetness, stone fruit and a soft, wine-like finish — ideal if you love a more vibrant cup.

Both are roasted light to medium to preserve sweetness and clarity, making them ideal for cold brew’s slow, gentle extraction.
