PROCESS
The process is highly complex, but put simply, the green coffee beans are gently steamed before being immersed in water already saturated with coffee flavour compounds. As osmosis occurs, the caffeine is drawn out while the essential flavour characteristics remain in the bean. The result is a decaf coffee that retains its natural sweetness, body and overall flavour balance.
