As a Sales Executive focused on new business development at Little Italy Coffee Roasters, you'll play a crucial role in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and secure new wholesale clients, leveraging your sales expertise and market knowledge to establish lasting partnerships. With a focus on proactive prospecting and strategic outreach, you'll contribute to the continued success and expansion of Little Italy Coffee Roasters. 


This role will include: 

Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to prospect, acquire, and onboard new wholesale clients, targeting cafes, restaurants, and hospitality businesses. 
Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs. 
Utilise various sales techniques, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events, to generate leads and opportunities. 
Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, presenting Little Italy Coffee Roasters as the preferred coffee supplier. 
Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional materials to support new business acquisition efforts. 
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to the needs and preferences of prospective clients. 
Negotiate terms and contracts with potential clients, ensuring alignment with company policies and profitability targets. 
Coordinate with internal departments, including customer service, operations and roasting to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing support for new clients. 
Track sales activity and progress using CRM software, providing regular updates and reports to management on pipeline status and performance. 
Stay informed about industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities, adapting sales strategies as needed to maintain a competitive edge.

        Skills and Qualifications:

        Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in the food and beverage industry, with a focus on new business development. 
        A passion for coffee Strong sales acumen and negotiation skills, with the ability to identify and capitalise on opportunities to drive revenue growth. 
        Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions and build rapport with diverse clientele. 
        Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to prospecting and lead generation.
        Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute targeted sales plans to achieve business objectives. 
        Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to manage and analyse sales data effectively.
