Frequently Asked Questions
When will my order arrive, and what does shipping cost?
We ship Monday to Friday. Orders placed before 1pm are dispatched the same day; anything after 1pm goes out the next business day. Most metro deliveries land within 2–4 business days, regional 4–7. Shipping is free on orders over $65 within NSW, or over $120 Australia-wide.
Can I pause, change, or cancel my subscription?
Anytime. From your account you can pause a delivery, swap to a different coffee, change your bag size, or update your shipping address. Subscriptions save you 5% on every order, with no lock-in — skip a delivery if you've still got beans on the bench, or cancel whenever you need to.
How fresh is my coffee, and how should I store it?
We roast to order, so every bag is shipped within days of being roasted. Coffee tastes its best in the 2–6 week window after roasting. Keep your beans in an airtight container at room temperature, away from heat, light, and moisture — skip the fridge and freezer; the temperature swings and condensation do more harm than good.
Which grind should I choose at checkout?
If your espresso machine has a built-in grinder, choose Whole Beans. If you grind separately, match the grind to your method: Espresso for espresso machines, Plunger / French Press for plungers, AeroPress for AeroPress, Filter / Pour Over for V60, Chemex, or drip, Mokapot for stove-top, Cold Brew for cold brew. If you're not sure, check out our Brew Guide Hub, or drop us a line with your equipment and we'll point you in the right direction.
I'm new to specialty coffee — how do I pick one?
Start with how you drink it. If you're mostly making milk-based coffees (lattes, flat whites, cappuccinos), our blends — Ora Espresso, Sweet Maria, Que Linda — cut beautifully through milk with rich, balanced, chocolatey notes. If you drink mostly black, or want to try a pour-over or filter brew, our Single Origin range showcases the distinct character of beans from a specific region. Every product page lists the flavour notes — pick whatever sounds most appealing to you.
